This painting is part of my "Melancholia" collection.
The Watchful Flame captures the melancholy of time. You see a dragon-shaped lamp, inspired by an old Roman street light,I loved the idea of this carefully crafted object, built to last, now standing as a guardian. I wanted to paint that moment: the light it brings, the history it carries, and the way it seems to watch over the uncertainty of dusk.

Each piece is carefully packaged to ensure your product arrives in a perfect condition.
For original artworks, please allow up to 4 weeks before shipping. This is due to the curing process of oil paint : if your piece is fresh off the easel, it needs time to fully dry before being varnished and safely prepared for its journey to you.
