The Melancolia collection was born from my need to explore an emotion that has long been a quiet companion in my life: a joyful sadness, akin to nostalgia. I realised this feeling had always subtly woven itself into my art, and I decided to embrace it fully. This series, which I will unfold in multiple parts, is a visual journey through that space. Today, you can discover its first five paintings.
Ephemeral Lace
this painting is about The fragility of the now. You see a moth,its life so fleeting, just a few days,resting on lace, something made slowly, stitch by stitch, built to last. I wanted to capture that contrast: the delicate beauty of a moment that won’t stay, held against the patience of something meant to endure.
It’s a reminder that even the most temporary things deserve to be savored.

For original artworks, please allow up to 4 weeks before shipping. This is due to the curing process of oil paint : if your piece is fresh off the easel, it needs time to fully dry before being varnished and safely prepared for its journey to you.
